Position Objectives:
Clearwater County Highway Department is seeking a qualified Engineering Technician to join our team. This position will include construction inspection, material testing, surveying, computer aid design, plan preparation, and other Department functions.
Minimum Requirements:
Preferred qualifications are for completion of a two-year college or vocational civil engineering curriculum, and over two years’ experience related to civil engineering in surveying, inspection and drafting plans, and experience in using computers.
Benefits:
Salary Range: $29.40 to $37.93/hour depending on qualifications. This is a Local 49ers Union position. The union contract salary range for 2027 is $31.96 to $41.09/hour. Clearwater County offers benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurances, as well as paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave.
